is that if the situation were reversed, if he had cheated on her….nobody would be laughing about it with her on a TV show. nobody would be cheering her on, trying to comfort her in some way. everyone would just be like “well look at her, she’s fucking miserable all the time. he probably got tired of her miserable ass!” and i can’t help but see the sexism in it.
especially since if he had slept with a married woman or kissed a married woman or whatever Kristen supposedly did, people would still be blaming the woman in the situation, and saying that she should’ve stayed faithful to her husband…but not many people are angry at Rupert for being a cheater with 2 kids when he was the one that took marriage vows and made a legally binding commitment to someone before “God” or whatever.
and i feel like with the Cosmopolis press tour, every interviewer is trying to skirt around mentioning anything about Kristen to him when it’s so apparent that they really want to ask about it, and that’s really shitty for him and everyone who worked on the movie because they deserve for their work to be recognized, and not their star’s break up with his girlfriend to be the forefront of every fucking interview.
Yep. Basically.
